School trips
Trips and Excursions
We, at St. George’s, feel that education and learning is just as important outside of the classroom as inside. Therefore, every Department organises day trip and excursions for its pupils at least once per term. This may involve a trip to Museums, Art galleries, Media events or even simply a trip to an interesting workplace for individual classes. These trips may involve a minimal extra cost to cover entrance fees, travel etc.
Extended residential trips are also offered throughout the year to pupils in Lower, Middle and Upper Schools. All Lower and Middle School children have an exciting trip to a residential camp during the Summer term. All Middle and Upper School pupils are invited to join the residential Ski trip held in the Spring. All Upper School pupils entering Year 12 take part in a sixth form introduction before the start of the Autumn term.
We also occasionally offer residential trips to our pupils if there is enough demand and we can find exciting opportunities we feel would be beneficial.
Please see our News page for information regarding upcoming events.
