Bursaries and Financial Assistance

St. George’s offers financial assistance for pupils from Year 2 until Year 5 (age 6-10). Financial assistance after Year 5 is at the School’s discretion. Applying for financial aid is a parallel process to admission. A candidate must fulfil all aspects of the admission process in order to qualify for a bursary.

We are happy to announce that we are offering another 10 full Bursaries for the Academic Year 10/11.

Application Criteria:

The Financial Aid application deadline for the coming school year is June 30th. (see School Calendar)

1. Financial:Documented evidence of joint parental income is required for a successful bursary application.

Bursaries are offered for parents with:

a) A joint gross income not exceeding € 40,000,- p.a. = 100% tuition fee reduction

excluding a monthly fee payment of € 120,-.

b) A joint gross income not exceeding € 50,000,- p.a. =  50% tuition fee reduction.

The following additional costs, regardless of bursary status, must be taken into consideration:

Registration Fee € 750,- (once only)

Stationery Fee € 150,- (p.a.)

School Uniform € 100,- (approximate cost per set)

School Trips € 100,- (approximately per term)

Exam Fees (as applicable)

2. Academic Standard:

A minimum average grade of 75-80% in all academic subjects is required.

3. Satisfactory standard of written and oral English:

Based upon appropriate test results.

4. Appropriate Social skills

All pupils are required to demonstrate the necessary social skills central to the ethos of St. George´s School. 

5. Place availability

We expect financial aid applications to be treated confidentially and pupils will not be aware of having a bursary. Financial aid is conditional upon satisfactory performance and conduct whilst a pupil is attending St. George’s.
