Pastoral

St. George’s School is justifiably very proud of its academic record, however we firmly believe we could not have achieved our high academic status without the particular care and attention we pay to our Pastoral care.

Every teacher at St. George’s, whether a Form Teacher or a Subject Teacher takes great care to make each individual child welcome in our school. Our regular assessments and reports also monitor social progress and the effort our children apply to their school life. Our children are not only awarded merit according to academic grades, they are also awarded merit concerning their conduct towards others and their contribution to school life Even a pleasant demeanour earns rewards, as we know that every individual within the St. George’s family has something to contribute.

In order to facilitate a smoother integration into St. George’s life and to help foster a community spirit, we have a number of positions and structures which help act as focal points around which life at St. George’s can both evolve and revolve.
