Head Boy / Head Girl
We are extremely proud of our prefect system, which we have introduced to allow our pupils to develop their leadership skills and nurture a growing sense of responsibility.
The Prefect system at St. George’s is about fostering the family atmosphere and encouraging greater communication across the year groups. We have so many high achieving pupils in the upper echelons of the school, and we hope to see our younger pupils benefit from the example they set.
It is always difficult to select the ten prefects from the well deserving pupils who apply. Nevertheless these pupils immerse themselves in the job of representing the proud traditions of our school.
All prefects help supervise younger pupils while they work at lunchtime and provide an additional pair of eyes for teachers in break times.
They are acting as ambassadors and diplomats for the school, guiding guests around the school with the open friendliness for which St. George’s is renowned.
Structure:
Head Boy / Head Girl.
4 Senior Prefects 4 Ordinary Prefects.
The Prefect Role
